Green Sindh campaign to continue for a week in various areas, in collaboration with Gulshan-e-Hadeed Awami Forum

The Sindh Newspapers Society (SNS) has formally launched its tree plantation campaign under the vision of a Greener Pakistan and the goal of environmental sustainability. The campaign was inaugurated at a dignified ceremony held in Gulshan-e-Hadeed, where prominent figures from various sectors participated by planting trees.
Participants of the event included SNS President Qazi Shafiq Ahmed, Syed Rizwan Shah, Deedar Ali Sandilo, Bashir Ahmed Junejo, Muhammad Ilyas Malik, Abdul Rehman Shah, Altaf Hussain Siyal, and Anwaruddin Solangi. All attendees emphasized that eco-friendly efforts are the need of the hour.
The campaign, being carried out in collaboration with Gulshan-e-Hadeed Awami Forum, will continue throughout the monsoon season. During this period, trees will be planted at various locations across the city. The initiative aims not only to enhance the environment but also to raise public awareness about the importance of trees.
On this occasion, SNS President Qazi Shafiq Ahmed stated:
“Environmental protection is our collective responsibility. A Green Pakistan is not just a campaign—it is a commitment to provide our future generations with a clean, safe, and green environment.”
The Sindh Newspapers Society has called upon all institutions, educational bodies, social organizations, citizens, and student groups to actively participate in this initiative and help turn the dream of a lush and thriving Sindh into a reality.
